Pastor Paul Haasz
At twelve years of age, Paul Haasz trusted Christ as his Savior while reading a gospel tract. Three years later, he accepted God's call to preach. He graduated with a Church Administration degree from Bob Jones University in 1991. Years later while working on a Pastoral staff, he completed his Master of Ministry degree from what was then known as Northland Baptist Bible College in 2001. God moved the Haasz family to Mount Zion Community Church in 2002. He continues his faithful ministry here of Biblical preaching and of serving with a Shepherd's heart.
Assistant to the Pastor
It wasn't until the age of eighteen when Christian finally understood what it meant to trust in Jesus alone for salvation. Two weeks later, he attended Bible college. In 2015, Pastor Norman Lee Johnston's message was used by God to call Christian into full-time ministry. While completing his undergrad in Biblical studies, he met Rachel. In August of 2018, they were married and joined Mount Zion's church family as Christian became part of the pastoral staff. He "holds up the hands" of the senior pastor by leading the music and youth ministry.
