Directions

Get off at Exit #91 (Donegal exit), old exit #9. At the stop sign after the toll booth, turn right onto Route 31, heading west. Stay on this road for about 4 miles. Look for a large yellow sign on the right that warns truckers to reduce gears for a steep grade downhill. About a tenth of a mile past the crest of this hill you will see a sign indicating a left turn onto Bear Rocks Road. Turn left at this sign. The road will quickly zig and then zag to a stop sign. At this sign, turn left onto Bear Rocks Road. Travel down Bear Rocks Road for 1.7 miles before the next turn. After a curve and a small downward hill, make a hard right turn onto Kreinbrook Hill Road and start uphill for 1/4 mile. You will see the church (Mt. Zion Community Church) on the left. Mt. Zion Christian Academy meets in this building. The church/school office is around the right side of the building.

Travel east on Route 31. There is a traffic light at the intersection of Route 31 and Rt. 982 (This intersection is about three miles from the Mt. Pleasant statue of a World War I Doughboy; there is also a used car lot and a gas station at this intersection).

Turn left onto Rydel Rd. (a white "Eagle Ranch" sign on the right hand side of the road). Rydel Road will intersect Kreinbrook Hill Road about 1 1/2 miles up the hill. Bear left at the stop sign to join Kreinbrook Hill Road. About 2 miles later you will see the church (Mt. Zion Community Church) on the right. Mt. Zion Christian Academy meets in this building. The church/school office is around the right side of the building.

At the intersection of Rt. 119 and Rt. 982 (Sheetz Gas Station on corner), turn right onto Rt. 982 heading north. You will stay on this road for about 5 1/2 miles. Look for Paradise United Methodist Church on the left after 5 of these miles, then for our church/school sign on the right about 1/2 mile later. Turn right onto Kreinbrook Road. Continue on this road (climbing the mountain) for 3 1/2 miles. (The distance only seems longer than 3 1/2 miles) Another road will cut into this road (Rydel Rd.) about half way up. About 2 miles later you will see the church (Mt. Zion Community Church) on the right. Mt. Zion Christian Academy meets in this building. The church/school office is around the right side of the building.

Head south on Rt. 982 until you come to the traffic light at Rt. 31. There will be a used car dealer across the intersection and a gas station next to it. Continue straight still heading south on Rt. 982 for exactly 1 mile.
